Former NFL player and Super Bowl Champion Anquan Boldin describes the tragedy that led him to co-found the Players Coalition initiative to fight for social justice and racial equality. Along with Angela LaChica, CEO of LaChica Sports and Entertainment Group and Managing Director of the Players Coalition, Boldin participated in the United Nations celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP). He discussed the significant impact that players have had on police and community relations, education, economic advancement, and criminal justice reform.
