In order to identify and remove barriers that may prevent women from contributing their full potential to the country’s protection efforts, Canada established the Chief of Professional Conduct and Culture in April 2021. Led by a three-star General, the new structure seeks to nurture an inclusive culture across the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Armed Forces.
