Jason Roberts, Chief Football Development Officer at Concacaf, and former footballer, along with Nasser Al Khori, Executive Director of Generation Amazing, participated in the United Nations celebration of the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace (IDSDP) highlighting their partnership which produces programs on a local level using football for social development.

Originating during the COVID-19 lockdown, the programs focus on addressing the local community’s needs. Generation Amazing, part of the Qatar World Cup legacy, has had an impact on millions of people, especially youth and refugees. The collaboration between Generation Amazing and Concacaf enhances existing grassroots football programs by empowering coaches to reach 100,000 youth by 2026. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, they emphasize football's power for positive change, inviting partners to join their journey.
