Dr. Nilufer Oral of the Istanbul Bilgi University School of Law, is an expert in marine environmental protection, shipping and climate change and has been actively involved in the work of the IUCN, including the protection of the High Seas. She serves on the board of IUCN Academy on Environmental Law and is in Honolulu for the IUCN World Conservation Congress's 2016 meeting being held Sept. 1- 10.
