The event will unite environmental champions across age groups and regions to celebrate solutions to the triple planetary crisis – together with Member States, funding partners, celebrity voices and Earth optimists across stakeholder groups.
The joint event will re-launch the Young Champions of the Earth, the UN’s most prestigious award for young environmentalists. Together with previous Young Champions and our new supporter Christopher Kemper the event will officially open applications the new call for all young changemakers. In addition, the event will celebrate the new UN World Restoration Flagships, the most successful and inspiring examples of reviving nature. During the event each Flagship will get a moment in the sun, with an introduction by a Goodwill Ambassadors, Young Champions or Government officials, featuring short videos and unique chances to meet the winners.
