In the 1992-93 season, Michael Jordan delivered another legendary performance, leading the Chicago Bulls to their third consecutive NBA championship and completing their first three-peat. During the regular season, he played 78 games and averaged 32.6 points (leading the league), 6.7 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 2.8 steals, and 0.8 blocks per game, shooting 49.5% from the field, 35.2% from three, and 83.7% from the free-throw line. In the playoffs, he elevated his game even further, averaging 35.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.1 steals over 19 games while playing 41.2 minutes per contest. In the 1993 NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns, Jordan was spectacular, averaging an astonishing 41.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, earning Finals MVP honors and cementing his status as one of the greatest players in basketball history.
